you are beautiful

i have this book

but have yet to see the movie. thanks for the tip. also have a book by margaret kilgallen which makes me sad everytime i look at it...not her artwork, but her short lived very sad.
another book which a friend just loaned me is this

"the journal recorded five years in the life and times of a smart and headstrong New York teenager, a young woman who loved Baudelaire, Central Park, and men and women with equal abandon."
this diary was found in a dumpster.
enjoy your moments of peace these days and get some reading in while you can.
i hope to see the swaney show with you live + in colour.

gold finger

miss es.
beautiful postings ...very organic and textural
+ yes, i do remember that book!
love the letterpress piece.
life on savary was sweet no?
thought you might need a bling hit to shake your world up a bit.
here are some recent finds ...

this skull ring from an antique store which i gave to the shrub for her 21st. birthday... gold band and carved moose ivory (?)

an escher-esque 3d necklace from the flea market on my last trip. this photo doesn't capture it's glory but gives you an idea.

can't wait to get up and there and go thrifting girlfriend.

That's some summertime magic, to stumble upon those fine words!

And I'm hoping we have some magic thrifting in our near future: remember finding this book?
Micro-Art; Art Images in a Hidden World.
I pulled it out this morning to get some inspiration... I'd like a giant mural, floor to ceiling wallpaper.
And my birthday book came in the mail, so I'll make a glowing lantern to go with it.

Love to you,
