art opening i attended last thursday in chelsea with a friend. it was her friend, tom fruin's opening.
very crowded and lacking red wine = me out of there within 5 mins.

today there is fluffy white snow on the deck and no sign of manhattan.



this was a day last week where everything was so dark grey but manhattan was glowing bright red orange...this photo i took off my deck doesn't do it justice.

I too have become footwear obsessed over the last few weeks. I succumbed to the trend, joined the masses, got myself a pair of Hunters. And I love them. Who would have thought a pair of wellingtons could change my winter perspective so completely?
Puddles cower in my presence. Slush beats a hasty retreat. Mud - Ahhh, Mud! - has become my co-conspirator. A gentle friend fairly floating me through the playground. These are the boots for the mother of a two-year old. These are the boots for the two-year old inside the mother!

shoes...glorious shoes! some chanel sandals for spring that are unfortunately not mine, but 'you know who's' that just visited here and is now on her way back to LA...can you say spoiled brat!? but we love her....

my apologies for being awol...was swallowed up by the art fair in LA then came running back here for sanity.
i found this book a while back in a thrift store and thought that you might have designed the cover! was quite thrilled but the contents left me a bit disappointed. however, did notice this weird 'baby with a whip' painting and it gave me some inspiration for new work.
