finally made it up to paradise this last weekend, my first time since our ladies' retreat last year.
so magical, so delicious.
(that's an anchovy with roasted tomato, and a sauteed greens with burrata, both bruschetta'd.)
i can't wait for my bolani.
maybe i WILL come for your show -
children be damned, and i don't think i can bear to wait past then!

welcome back to the www and all the goodies you seem to find on it.
i love the shoes and actually think i have that exact handbag in red ... great minds...
the potato salad was good but not quite as delicious as yours.
why don't you come back and make it for me again and i will make you this for breakfast.
the spinach bolani is a middle eastern crepe type thingy that i buy at the farmers market, topped with a poach egg and then i add a fresh tomato salad to finish.
it's my favourite breakfast at the moment especially since tomatoes are at their peak.
monday, monday once again and all i really want is a new swimsuit , a pool and a book but instead it's off to paint land.

yum. i have been a-craving that delicious salad. must find some new potatoes. and dill.
more important than one would think in a summer salad. frank stitt (another chez panisse alumni) makes a buttermilk dressed salad fully loaded with dill that is outta this world. of course the home made bacon bits help. see frank stitt's southern table for details.
and i found you some shoes.
i hope they will fit. pretty beautiful.
and while on a ferragamo kick, the bag is for me.
back to work.

barefoot ess on the sandy shores of savary,
i went to the hollywood farmers market yesterday and did a repeat of our shopping adventure there complete with that delicious rotisserie chicken, a small bag of potatoes and the fixins' for this.
am going to make this later this afternoon but forego the white wine + chicken stock and like you did, add haricot verts, olives and capers...ohhh and a tiny bit of mayo....because that potato salad you made was divine!
p.s. maybe i can make this and still go to the heirloom truck ? it is monday after all.
